Research

Currently undertaking a PhD in Nuclear Engineering with a focus on using Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics for fuel performance modelling . My project is in partnership with the National Nuclear Laboratory and OperaHPC within Bangor University's Nuclear Futures Institute.

Overview

Pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Engineering at Bangor University will position me to build on my existing data science skillsets while developing an SPH-based tool that can predict the microstuctural evolution of nuclear fuels. This programme will allow me to pursue research that merges data visualisation and clean energy for social good .
