N2 - A piece of early medieval sculpture was rediscovered in May 2013 by NV and Roderick Bale lying in the Nant Tawelan stream (SN 5712 5101) approximately 40m south-west of the churchyard of St Sulien’s Church, Silian, near Lampeter. It is now located in the church. Its rediscovery allows a reassessment of the monument itself and the potential significance of other archaeological remains associated with the site.
