N2 - Incorporating sustainable development goals in business practices is one of the important challenges for the businesses in the era of digital and artificial intelligence. The adaptation of sustainable goals in business models largely depends on the availability of sustainable finance from investors and financiers. In addition, the size of the variations of business and the institutional framework from one country to another makes it even more demanding for the policy makers to adapt certain sustainable model applicable in a particular country and industry. Thus, this special issue is dedicated to country specific challenges faced by different businesses from various industries in adapting the sustainable development goals as defined by the United Nations. Furthermore, this special issue is focuses on identification of challenges, critical issues related to SDGs within a holistic approach to business models.
