La imagen violenta de Vodú: la xenofobia en la recepción de la religión haitiana en Nueva York.
Research output: Contribution to journal › Article › peer-review
Voodoo is an extended religion in USA because of the migration of Haiti. Nowadays it is associated with zombies and satanic rituals. Voodoo transmits negative idea of violence. This evaluation is not founded on reality but based upon imaginary prejudices of racism and xenophobia, from mass media influence that determines Haitian communities' integration and development and poses a relevant intercultural question concerning the implications of imaginary violence.
