N2 - Obesity and a sedentary lifestyle are fast becoming major problems for not only the NHS as a whole but also the lymphoedema therapist. What happens when the ideas of the patient and therapist regarding treatment are not the same? This article aims to address these issues by looking at a case study of such a patient, and the surprising outcome that resulted when the patient got his own way.
