N2 - With the purpose of combining technical, administrative and financial efforts between the Alexander von Humboldt Institute and the Colombian Association of Zoology (ACZ), to identify, manage and consolidate biological records and information on ecology, use and threats of a specific group of species of mammals of Colombia, in accordance with the information needs of the IUCN categorization system and criteria, a database of records was generated from camera trapping information provided by different researchers and interested institutions. A total of 19,999 records corresponding to 10 orders, 26 families, 50 genera and 66 species were obtained. The most representative orders were Carnivora (35.97%), Rodentia (28.56%) and Artiodactyla (16.55%). These records come from 56 organizations and 121 authors who shared their data for the publication. All the data received were organized in the registration formats of the SIB Colombia platforms and in the database of the Institutional Infrastructure of I2D Data of the Humboldt Institute.
