The Dementia Services Development Centre Wales (http://dsdc.bangor.ac.uk/research.php.en) is a UK research centre driven by a strong commitment to co-create research alongside experts by experience. Here we showcase a project that seeks to co-create a resilience building framework for people living with dementia and those supporting them. We reflect on the experiences of two people involved in the research and highlight the ways they are
working together:
• Teresa (Dory) Davies, a co-researcher, and expert by experience research co-supervisor
who is living with Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia.
• Hannah Jelley, an early career researcher in dementia care.
