I am a behavioural ecologist and biological anthropologist specialising in research on primate reproductive ecology, physiology and conservation. I direct the Zanzibar Red Colobus Project, a new long-term study of an endangered and endemic primate. Together with my students, in Zanzibar we study how these animals are coping with human-induced changes to their habitat and how anthropogenic disturbance affects their behaviour, physiology, and reproduction.
