My research interest includes but is not limited to:
- Applied data science for finance and business analytics - web scraping, text analysis, data visualisation, statistical modelling
- Retail trading - individual trading behaviour and performance analysis in equity, forex exchange and cryptocurrency markets
- Financial technology - financial news analytics, sentiment analysis, mobile and Internet finance
- Behavioural risk-taking and decision-making - prospect theory, individual behavioural biases, and decision theories
