Dr Jen Williams
Research Officer
Overview
Jen Roberts is a researcher at DSDC Wales. She has an interest in looking at ways to support people with dementia to live as well as possible following the diagnosis. She is currently working on the Rare Dementia Support (RDS) Impact Study, with a focus on how people living with dementia experience resilience, and how people have experienced the process of receiving a diagnosis of dementia in Wales, and how this can be improved for others in the future. Jen also works closely with the Caban group, who are a group of people affected by dementia that help guide research, teaching, creating useful resources, and the steering group for Dementia Friendly Bangor University.
