Margiad Williams is Co-Director for the Centre for Evidence Based Early Intervention at Bangor University.
Her main research interests and expertise are in implementation and evaluation, particularly parenting and school-based interventions. She has experience of evaluating interventions in English and Welsh settings (including education, health and public sector) as well as in international contexts (e.g., Southeastern Europe), and has published widely in these areas. Interventions have included antibullying programmes, child social-emotional development, and behaviour management interventions using mixed method approaches in feasibility/pilot trials as well as large pragmatic randomised controlled trials.
