Dr Prabhakar Srivastava
Research Fellow
Overview
Prabhakar Srivastava is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Environmental Biotechnology (CEB) in the School of Environmental & Natural Sciences, Bangor University. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cardiff University with Prof. Rudolf K. Allemann and worked on “Engineering water capture mechanism in terpene synthases”, generating novel biocatalysts with potential in biotechnological applications. His present role in CEB focuses on the various aspects of Engineering microorganisms to degrade recalcitrant organic pollutants and enhance natural remediation processes.
