N2 - This 59-chapter 2-volume work was commissioned by Cambridge University Press from Andrew Lynch, Professor at the University of Western Australia, immediate past president of the International Arthurian Society, and myself. It covers the whole gamut of Arthurian studies from the inception of the legends in the early 6th century to the 21st, across all languages, geographical territories and periods of time. It will also include 2 of my contributions, one a full chapter and one a co-written one, as well as a co-written general introduction.
