In response to an entry by Rainer Schreg on his ArchaeoLogik blog regarding recent reports of disposal of 'insignificant' finds by the Swedish Riksantikvarieämbetet, I discuss necessary selection processes in archaeology and the need to communicate publicly over the criteria and need for selection in archaeological archiving.
