N2 - This presentation considers the role of consent in a period where commercial organisations are increasingly interested in emotions gathered by means of sentiment mining and biometrics. In the talk I will briefly outline empathic media, the ways in which consent may be best conceived and consider these in relation to information that may be non-personally identifiable, but still of an intimate nature.
