Talk in the Seminar Series of the School of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences. Visual criminology as a field of research in criminology has been introduced. After a definition and an outline of the history of visual criminology and its relation to other areas of visual studies, examples of the methods of visual criminology and the findings they elicited have been presented.
