N2 - The Handbook is one of the key outcomes of the Strategic Partnership: Supporting Social and Emotional Skills in Preschool Children from a Disadvantaged or Culturally Different Environment, Erabled by the Erasmus + European Union Program: 2014-1-CZ01-KA201-001988. The handbook summarizes the situation in pre-school facilities in the four partner countries of the project: in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, England and Wales. Although Wales is part of the UK, since 1997 it has its own government, which means a high degree of independence in decision-making in the field of education. The handbook contains a summary of basic information on pre-school education in the countries concerned, an overview of related statistical data and system measures, and outputs of a survey project aimed at pre-school staff. Part of this document is also an example of good practice in the partner countries of the project. This publication was published in Slovak (ISBN 978-80-905748-5-4) and Czech (ISBN 978-80-905748-6-1).
